Ms. Pelletier, who is also joining the Company's Board of Directors, joins ACS effective October 6, 2003 after spending 17 years at Sprint Corporation, most recently as a member of the Executive Management Committee and Chief Integration Officer. Ms. Pelletier's position consolidates Mr. Robinson's day-to-day responsibilities and those of Wes Carson, who left in May to be CEO of ACS Media, LLC. In this position, she has been overseeing Sprint's transformation from a product centric to a more customer centric organization. For the three years prior to that appointment, Ms. Pelletier served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Business Development. Her responsibilities included driving corporate strategy, managing the Company's broadband spectrum assets and developing and marketing integrated products. Over the course of her 17 year career at Sprint, Ms. Pelletier also served as a Vice President in a wide variety of departments, including in corporate strategy, customer acquisition and retention and marketing positions to both business and consumer customers. Before joining Sprint, she worked as a consultant at Touche Ross and Temple, Barker, Sloane. Ms. Pelletier has an MBA from M.I.T. and B.A. from Wellesley College.

"Liane is a proven problem solver and experienced executive who will bring fresh ideas and energy to ACS," commented Chuck Robinson, Chairman and CEO of ACS. "Her experience at Sprint will be invaluable at ACS and her appointment reaffirms our commitment to being the premier telecommunications company in Alaska. We are excited to have attracted such a talented executive to the State and I look forward to working with her in the coming months."

"As the founder and visionary behind ACS, Chuck Robinson's legacy at the Company will live on and I look forward to building on his accomplishments," added Ms. Pelletier. "As a true integrated communications provider, ACS has much in common with Sprint and I believe my past experience will help lead the Company. ACS' successful spin-out of the directories business and strengthened balance sheet are firm evidence of the positive recent momentum and future prospects at the Company.
